Repairs and Maintenance Project Officer (Compliance and Assurance)We are seeking an experienced Repairs and Maintenance Project Officer to support critical compliance and assurance work across our Building Technical Services (BTS), Luton Council. This is an brilliant opportunity for a skilled contractor to play a key role in strengthening compliance, improving evidence management, and ensuring regulatory readiness within a local authority environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on collating, reviewing, and populating all required evidence for the Local Authority Information Return (LAIR) across BTS compliance areasSupport the development of the Contextual Statement, working closely with senior stakeholdersContribute to the production of Spotlight Reports and Position Statements across all compliance areasIdentify gaps in existing evidence and implement robust systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance and future-proof data captureProduce or coordinate the production of any missing evidence required for audits, inspections, or regulatory returnsWork collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy of compliance documentationAbout YouProven experience in a repairs and maintenance, compliance, or asset management environment, ideally within a local authority or housing settingStrong understanding of regulatory complicated processes, or statutory returnsAbility to quickly assess gaps and implement practical, sustainable solutionsExcellent ..... full job details .....
