Repair Technician Location: Maidenhead Salary: £26,760.89 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Are you a practical, hands-on person with sewing and repair experience looking for a long-term opportunity? We are recruiting for a Repair Technician to join a busy workshop in Maidenhead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems and taking pride in producing high-quality work. The Role As a Repair Technician, you will assess and repair luggage, ensuring every item is handled to a high standard and in line with the required manufacturer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing luggage to determine the appropriate repair required Identifying whether items can be repaired or should be replaced Carrying out repairs using approved methods and genuine parts Using your sewing skills as part of the repair process Identifying when replacement parts are required Completing repairs once parts become available Maintaining accurate repair records Ensuring repairs meet quality and customer service standards Working closely with colleagues in a busy workshop environment Following company procedures, including health and safety and data protection requirements About You We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and has excellent attention to detail.
