Repair Technician

Ivy Technology is a leading global electronics repair and service provider to many of the world largest tech, medtech & telecom companies.

We are seeking talented and motivated Repair Technicians to join our team based in Coventry (Cross Point Business Park). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary and benefits program.

As our Repair Technician you will use your technical expertise to perform diagnostic testing and total repair of electronic units/devices.

Responsibilities as our Repair Technician:

• Carry out tasks related to testing, device diagnosis and / or component replacement at the module level
• Carry out the tasks entrusted by the immediate superior on the basis of job instructions and appropriate training
• Participate in the process of continuous improvement of the service of the repaired product
• Test and locate failures at the module level
• Replace the diagnosed modules / components
• Make decisions on further treatment of the repaired device
• Help less experienced employees in the implementation of assigned tasks
• Perform other tasks ordered by the Superior

What we’re looking for in our Repair Technician:

• Technical Education (preferably electronic or IT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the repair of electronic equipment
• Proven competences in the field of electronics basics, component identification
• Confirmed knowledge of the operated electronic equipment
• Accuracy and reliability
• Ability to effectively plan working time
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure of time and results
• Ability to work in a team
• Basic technical English (understanding the description of terminology used to describe faults)
• Basic computer skills and Word, Excel software from Microsoft Office
• Ability to repair components at the module level
