JMB84 - Repair TechnicianLocation: Blackburn Salary: £30,000 £35,000 per annumWorking Routine: Mon-Fri ( 7:00 am 4:30 pm ) Benefits: Annual bonus of up to 5% for eligible employeesOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Repair Technician ( PLC''s) on behalf of our client.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to join an established engineering business, working with a range of industrial automation equipment and electronic components.The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, fault-finding, repairing and refurbishing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, drives and other industrial control systems.Our client welcomes applications from ex-military personnel, particularly those with backgrounds in engineering, electronics, electrical maintenance or technical trades.Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect, test and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment.Diagnose faults and troubleshoot automation components.Clean, service and refurbish equipment, replacing faulty or worn components where required.Work with PLCs, HMIs, inverters, drives and other control systems.Use diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.Develop soldering and component replacement skills.Follow technical drawings, testing procedures and quality standards.Maintain accurate repair records and comply with health and safety requirements.
