Rents Transaction Assistant

Rents Transaction Assistant Location: Kent Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Fixed-term contract: 1 year We are seeking an excellent Rents Transaction Assistant that will play a key role in keeping rent accounting accurate, efficient, and customer focused. The Rents Transaction Assistant will primarily focus on all daily rental income which will be completed accurately and reconciled to SLA''s and other duties. Key Responsibilities Maintain tenant rent accounts to ensure that rents are correctly charged Reconcile weekly accounts to ensure all transactions have been properly accounted for and debit correctly raised using established procedure Managing tenant account adjustments and processing new rent re-lets Deal with refunds and amounts written off and ensure that these reconcile to the Housing and accounting System Assist in/manage the identification, development and implementation of manual and information technology systems and procedures Assist with the review of service charge costs within the Finance system and reconciliation to the Rents system Assist with the implementation of service charge modules, maintenance of the sinking fund and variance analysis of service charges Ensure payments are allocated to correct accounts to maintain accurate balances To be the primary point of contact for both internal colleagues and external stakeholders'' queries regarding the calculation of charges.
