Rent Income Officer

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Rent Income Officer to support the effective management of a growing housing portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious organisation during a period of rapid expansion, and progress with them as they continue to grow.As a Rent Income Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the full income and rent cycle, while also providing effective tenancy management across the housing portfolio.Key Responsibilities of a Rent Income Officer:Monitor and collect rent, addressing arrears and implementing appropriate actionAssist with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit applicationsManage a portfolio of properties, ensuring effective tenancy and estate managementLead on tenancy sign-ups, onboarding, and sustainment initiativesHandle anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, and complex caseworkDeliver excellent customer service and maintain strong resident relationshipsConduct property inspections and ensure health and safety complianceWhat We''d Love to See from You:Minimum 3 years'' experience in housing management or a related field within social or affordable housingStrong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, and regulatory complianceProven experience across all aspects of income and rent managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload independentlyConfident using housing management systemsFull UK driving licence and access to a ..... full job details .....
