Removals HGV Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Removal Driver to join our clients removals team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving and operating Class 2 removal vehicles while assisting with residential and commercial removals. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent driving standards, physical fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in accordance with UK road traffic laws and company procedures. Carry out residential and commercial removals locally and nationwide. Load and unload furniture, boxes, and specialist items safely and efficiently. Ensure all goods are properly secured and protected during transit. Complete vehicle checks and report defects promptly. Maintain accurate delivery and removal paperwork. Provide excellent customer service at all times. Work closely with porters and removal operatives as part of a team. Follow manual handling and health and safety procedures. Keep vehicles clean, organised, and roadworthy. Assist with packing and wrapping items where required. Occasionally work evenings, weekends, or overnight stays depending on business needs. Essential Requirements Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card. Good understanding of UK driving regulations and tachograph rules. Previous experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
