Costs Lawyer - Leeds/Remote An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Costs Lawyer, Solicitor or equivalent legal professional to join a leading, international law firm.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical costs experience to manage a varied and complex caseload while working within an established and supportive specialist team.The role offers hybrid working and high levels of flexibility with only 1 day a month in the office required.As a Senior Costs Lawyer/Costs Lawyer, you will manage your own caseload of predominantly Defendant costs matters, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and to a high standard in line with client service level agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a varied caseload of Defendant and/or Claimant costs mattersHandle all aspects of costs case management from instruction through to conclusionDraft Points of Dispute and RepliesPrepare Bills of Costs and Schedules of CostsNegotiate costs offers and settlementsAdvise on all aspects of third-party costs claimsPrepare costs budgets and Budget Discussion ReportsHandle high-value and complex costs mattersAttend interim applications, Costs and Case Management Hearings and Detailed Assessment Hearings where requiredEnsure management information is accurate and maintained in line with client SLAsProvide technical support and guidance to junior members of the team where appropriateYou will be a qualified Costs Lawyer, Solicitor or equivalent, with strong experience ..... full job details .....
