Commercial / Sales Manager – Shipping & Logistics
Location: Remote (UK) – with travel
Salary: Circa £40,000+ + Bonus + Benefits

A dynamic and growing joint venture in the shipping and logistics sector is seeking a Commercial / Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK market. .

The Role
This is a results-driven commercial role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and increasing container volumes within the UK. You will play a key part in shaping the company’s market presence, building strong customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth in line with strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the UK customer base, driving sales and revenue
  • Manage and expand key client accounts
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Handle sales enquiries and provide competitive pricing solutions
  • Maintain and utilise CRM systems to manage customer relationships
  • Lead sales campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial success

About You

  • Proven background in commercial sales (ideally within shipping/logistics)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive, ambitious approach
  • Experience managing customer accounts and pipelines
  • Knowledge of global trade routes and pricing structures (desirable)

Requirements

  • UK driving licence
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must have previous freight experience
