Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Remedial Drainage Assistant to join their team.

The main purpose of this Drainage Assistant role is to work alongside Lead Drainage Engineer to assist them on site, as well as learning to become a qualified Drainage Engineer.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £31,746 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 7am -5pm.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

• CCTV Surveys, inspections and detailed investigations works which will involve fault finding and providing practical solutions to support the client''s needs
• Carry out structured external line cleans and descaling works as part of planned remedial programmes
• Investigation into external drainage failures including collapses, displaced joints, infiltration, surcharge and repeat blockages
• Supporting lead engineer with producing site drainage plans, identifying defects, design issues, pipe conditions and missed connections withing the systems.
• Assist specialist teams with lining, patching and rehabilitations works
• Assist with Jetvac tanker works including line cleaning, root cutting and confined space entry works.
