Religious Education / Humanities Teacher - Leeds (Inner-City Secondary School)Religious Education Teacher (KS3 and KS4) Leeds Full-Time Immediate Start Contract Until ChristmasWe are working with a thriving inner-city secondary school in Leeds that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department on a full-time basis until Christmas.The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE classes. Due to the specialist nature of the role and a challenging recruitment market, the school is also keen to hear from Humanities teachers with experience delivering RE, including those whose main specialism is History, Geography, or Citizenship.The Role:Delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.Teaching GCSE RE classes.Planning, preparing and assessing student work in line with departmental expectations.Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.Supporting pupil progress and raising attainment across the subject.The Ideal Candidate:Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.Experience teaching RE at secondary level, or a Humanities specialism with the ability to teach RE confidently.Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young people.Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.Available on a full-time basis until Christmas.The School:Well-established inner-city secondary school in Leeds. ..... full job details .....
