Religious Studies Teacher (KS3)

Are you a Religious Studies teacher looking for a role in a welcoming, well-run school?

Quokka Education is working closely with a local secondary school in Alton, and we’re looking for a Key Stage 3 Religious Studies teacher to join them from after June 1st for 3 days per week.

There’s real potential for this to continue into September and develop into a permanent opportunity.

The role is paid to scale from day one. The school would also consider non-specialists with a strong knowledge of the Religious Studies curriculum at Key Stage 3.

The role will include:

• Teaching Religious Studies to Key Stage 3 students only (no GCSE)
• Delivering clear, engaging lessons
• Working within a supportive department
• Building positive relationships with students and staff

We’re looking for teachers who are:

• Qualified with QTS, QTLS, or equivalent
• Confident teaching Religious Studies
• Reliable, organised, and adaptable
• Able to create a calm and positive classroom environment
