Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience)
About the Role:
A diverse and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join their Humanities department from January. The successful candidate will teach RS across KS3 and KS4, inspiring pupils to explore different worldviews, ethics, and beliefs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who can promote tolerance, critical thinking, and reflection in young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Support pupils in preparing for GCSE Religious Studies examinations.
Foster debate, reflection, and enquiry around moral, cultural, and ethical issues.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department on curriculum development and cross-curricular projects.
Track and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support.
Requirements:
QTS with a specialism or experience in Religious Studies or Humanities.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire pupils’ curiosity.
Effective classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
