We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is looking for an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team from September 2026 or April 2026. This is a full-time role, available as either a contract or permanent position, giving you the chance to make a real difference in students'' learning and grow professionally.
What You''ll Be Doing:
- Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with some schools offering KS5 opportunities
- Planning and delivering lessons that encourage curiosity, reflection, and understanding of different beliefs
- Supporting students of all abilities, helping them engage with challenging topics in a safe and inclusive environment
- Collaborating with the RE or Humanities department to develop lessons, resources, and enrichment activities
- Encouraging students to think critically and respectfully about the world around them
Who We''re Looking For:
- Qualified RE teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge
- Confident classroom practitioners who can manage behaviour positively and create an engaging learning environment
- Flexible, reflective, and approachable teachers who enjoy working as part of a team
- Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply - full induction and mentoring support will be provided
