Religious Education Teacher

We are partnering with an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow that is seeking a fantastic permanent, full-time RE Teacher to join their Humanities department this September. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce students to the richness and diversity of religious and ethical thought across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.

What you''ll be doing:

• You''ll be designing and delivering engaging Religious Education lessons, sparking curiosity and developing students'' critical thinking and analytical skills.
• It''s about exploring various religious traditions, ethical frameworks, and philosophical concepts in a balanced and respectful manner.
• You''ll create a reflective and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong specialism in Religious Education, Philosophy, or Theology.
• Experience teaching inspiring and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A broad and current understanding of diverse religious traditions and ethical perspectives.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine ability to facilitate sensitive and constructive discussions.
