The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Religious Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role will involve teaching RE across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A-Level Religious Studies. The successful candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a commitment to fostering student engagement and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons across KS3–KS5, including A-Level.
Inspire students to explore ethical, philosophical, and religious questions with curiosity and critical thinking.
Use assessment data to monitor progress and raise attainment.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learners of all abilities.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the RE curriculum.
Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is a qualified teacher with experience in teaching RE, preferably including A-Level.
Has a passion for Religious Education and the ability to inspire students.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
Can use creative approaches, including enquiry-based learning and critical discussion.
Is committed to ongoing professional development and collaboration.
