Religious Education Teacher

This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the richness and diversity of religious and ethical thought across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5.

What you''ll be doing:

• You''ll be delivering engaging and effective Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and developing students'' critical thinking and analytical skills.
• It''s about contributing to a positive learning environment within the department and genuinely supporting students to reach their full potential.
• You''ll cultivate a reflective and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful, respectful discussions.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Religious Education, Philosophy, or Theology.
• Ideally, you''ll have some experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A broad and current understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that ability to facilitate sensitive discussions.
