Supply Desk is currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Beaconsfield, seeking a dedicated RE Teacherandnbsp;to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about Religious Education and inspiring students to explore worldviews, beliefs, and ethics in a modern context.

About the Role:


  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where diverse perspectives are respected
  • Promote critical thinking, debate, and empathy through a well-structured curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including assemblies, PSHE, and enrichment activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure outstanding teaching and learning outcomes



The ideal candidate will:


  • Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs also welcome to apply)
  • Have experience teaching RE at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning
  • Be passionate about encouraging students to engage with philosophical, ethical, and cultural topics
  • Show excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development
