Relief Support Worker

We are looking for warm, caring, and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Newton Aycliffe, Durham. Our vibrant supported living service supports individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health needs, and autism. We are committed to providing quality person-centred care and ensuring that our service users live valued and fulfilling lives. In this role, you will develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with our service users, while providing respectful, high-intensity personal care, as well as practical and emotional support. This will include assisting with cooking, cleaning, housework, and other life skills, alongside general administrative duties and housing management tasks. You will also ensure no two days are the same, engaging service users in a wide range of exciting activities within their homes, and out in the community. A minimum of 12 months'' UK care experience is essential for all Relief roles. You will attend mandatory induction courses before commencing work within our Durham services. A clean, valid driving licence is also an essential requirement of this role. As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in any area of the country.
