Relief Support Worker
Job Title: Relief Support WorkerLocation: Rhyl and Surrounding AreasWe have an opportunity for Support Workers to join our team supporting vulnerable people affected by or at risk of homelessness, substance and alcohol misuse, mental health illness, re offending and other challenges.BRC are recruiting on the ad-hoc, temporary and contract basis. To be a successful relief support worker you ll need: - Experience supporting vulnerable people in supported housing accommodation - A passion for making a difference. - Experience providing support in line with support plans. - To ensure safety and security of accommodation. - Experience lone working. - Strong communication. - Flexibility to work varying shifts. - Proactive nature. - To be able to encourage and promote a safe environment. Preferred but not essential: - Full UK Driving License - Access to own vehicle Responsibilities: - Offer direct support to vulnerable individuals. - Provide safe accommodation. - Monitor safety of building and young people. - Provide emotional support, advocacy, and practical assistance. - Coordinate with external agencies for resources and services. - Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
