Relief Night Care Worker

As a Relief Night Care Worker in our care home, you will support older people overnight to ensure they remain safe, comfortable and well cared for. Working flexibly to support the night team, you will help maintain consistent care and reassurance throughout the night. What your night will look like Supporting residents with personal and intimate care overnightCarrying out regular checks and responding to call bellsSupporting hydration, comfort and repositioning needsMaintaining a safe and calm environment during the nightCompleting care records and night documentationWorking alongside colleagues to support residents'' wellbeingReporting any changes in residents'' health or wellbeingSupporting early morning routines before day staff arrive About you You will be dependable and compassionate, with the ability to remain calm and attentive during night shifts. You will understand the importance of delivering person centred care that promotes dignity and reassurance. Experience in care is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. Basic IT skills are required for completing records and mandatory training. You will be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification. You must be a member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC, or willing to join and register.
