Relief F&B Duty Manager

Location: Richmond Area, South West London

Pay Rate: Up to -17.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

We are currently seeking an experienced and flexible Relief Food & Beverage Duty Manager to provide temporary management support across our Food & Beverage operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys variety, can quickly adapt to different service environments, and thrives in a hands-on leadership role.

As a Relief Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will provide operational cover across restaurant, bar, breakfast, lounge, and events services, ensuring that exceptional guest experiences and high service standards are maintained at all times.

• Provide duty management cover across all Food & Beverage outlets as required.
• Lead, motivate, and support team members during shifts.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of restaurant, bar, breakfast, room service, and event operations.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery.
• Support team training and development while promoting a positive working culture.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective communication across departments.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
• Assist with cost control, wastage reduction, and revenue-generating initiatives.
• Complete daily operational reporting and cash handling procedures where required.
• Act as Duty Manager for the wider operation when necessary.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• The ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and licensing requirements.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to work.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience within a hotel environment is desirable but not essential.
