Relief Cook

As a Relief Cook, you''ll prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals that help residents stay healthy, feel valued and enjoy mealtimes that are often the highlight of their day. Working on an as-needed basis, you''ll provide cover when required while helping maintain the high standards residents expect. What you will do Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for residentsFollow menus and cater for dietary, nutritional and cultural requirementsMaintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanlinessMonitor food stocks and support stock rotationEnsure meals are prepared and presented to a high standardSupport special events and celebrations through food preparationWork closely with colleagues to ensure residents'' needs are met About you You will have experience working in a professional kitchen and be confident preparing meals for groups of people. You''ll be organised, adaptable and able to work effectively in different situations while maintaining high standards.
