Relief Care Worker

As a Relief Care Worker, you''ll step in to provide high-quality care and support when it''s needed most. Your flexibility will help ensure residents continue to receive the compassionate, person-centred care they deserve, while giving you the freedom to work around other commitments. What you will do Support residents with personal care and daily living activitiesAssist with meals and encourage healthy nutrition and hydrationPromote independence and support individual choicesEncourage participation in activities and social opportunitiesProvide companionship, reassurance and emotional supportBuild positive relationships with residents, families and colleaguesMaintain accurate records and uphold high standards of care About youYou will be compassionate, patient and flexible, with a genuine desire to help others. You''ll be comfortable working in different situations and as part of a wider team. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We''re equally interested in people who share our values and want to make a positive difference in the lives of older people. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
