Release Manager

Job title: Release ManagerRate: £515 per day inside ir35Contract: 6 months Location: Telford/hybrid (2 days per week on site)SC security clearance is required for this role I am looking for an experienced Release Manager to join a major HMRC/Minerva programme, supporting the delivery of critical Self-Assessment (SA) risk and compliance capabilities. This is a great opportunity for a Release Manager who combines strong release/configuration management experience with hands-on SAS and Oracle knowledge.Responsibilities: . Own the end-to-end release process across Development, Test andamp; Production. Coordinate Development, Testing andamp; Operations teams to deliver releases on time. Manage configuration standards, manifests and structured release artefacts. Package and deploy SAS DI code (SPKs) and Oracle artefacts. Support SAS 9.4andnbsp;- SAS Viya 4 migration using CI/CD practices. Lead release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions and post-release retrospectives. Ensure full release traceability, governance and auditabilityExperience required:. SAS Enterprise Guide (EG). SAS Data Integration (DI). SAS Management Console. SAS Studio. SAS Viya 3.5/Viya 4. SAS Visual Analytics/Visual Investigator. Oracle. Configuration andamp; release management. Software testing life cycle/defect management. CI/CD andamp; DevOps practicesDesirable: HMRC/public sector experience, AWS/Azure/SAS PaaS, Airflow or SAS Migration Factory experience.
