Reinsurance North America Property Client Manager/BrokerAon are currently recruiting a Broker / Client Manager hybrid role for the Reinsurance Solutions US Property team in London.

About The RoleYour impact as a Client Manager / Handler:

To understand clients’ coverage needs in order to collect and analyse relevant information for risk transfer solutions.

Populating and maintenance of data within Aon’s IT systems.

Provide assistance to more senior brokers on the renewal process for more complex accounts.

Ability to resolve queries received from clients and reinsurers - collaborating closely with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary

Build positive relationships within the market and with relevant Aon networks

Review and check reinsurance or insurance documentation to ensure that it satisfies client requirements and other standards (e.g. regulatory).

Ensure compliance with Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and policies to safeguard Group Company''s business, interests, and reputation.

Your Impact As a Broker

Ability to market endorsements and renewals - Identifies appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients’ market security guidelines and other requirements

Provides advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available coverage and capacity, pricing, potential coverage improvements and market progress within scope of responsibility

Negotiating the best prices and capacity using knowledge, expertise, and market presence for desired cover where appropriate

Works in partnership with client teams, across London and the US to ensure client/network needs and expectations are met. Seeks to enhance the sharing of knowledge and ideas within the broader team

Ability to host client dinners and take a senior role in contributing to ongoing client satisfaction, retention and profitability

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

About You

Proven technical competence and strong experience of the industry

Actively seeks out market intelligence to spot opportunities and follows up where appropriate

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Understands the importance of tailoring approach with different audiences

Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and confident in many different situations with clients and the market

Able to demonstrate competence in business and financial matters

Demonstrate strong Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills
