Your new company An established professional body is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its Complaints and Resolution function. This role is offered on a remote working basis.Your new role As a Regulatory and Professional Conduct Lawyer, you will provide independent legal and procedural advice on complaints, investigations and professional conduct matters. Working closely with colleagues across complaints, governance and legal functions, you will help ensure cases are prepared thoroughly, fairly and in accordance with established procedures.Key responsibilities will include:Reviewing complaints, investigations, evidence and case papers in preparation for hearings and decision-making panels.Advising on professional conduct matters, procedural fairness, evidential issues and regulatory standards.Identifying gaps in investigations and recommending further enquiries where required.Attending hearings and panels to provide independent legal and procedural advice.Reviewing determinations, outcome letters and decisions to ensure legal and procedural accuracy.Advising on governance, safeguarding, equality, data protection and risk-related issues.Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, guidance materials and ..... full job details .....
