This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of the UK political finance system. As the postholder, you’ll lead the planning and coordination of operational changes required by upcoming legislative reforms, ensuring they are delivered effectively and on time. On a day-to-day basis, you will:Develop and oversee detailed plans to implement complex reformsWork closely with Policy, Legal Digital and Communications teams to assess impacts and ensure workabilityEngage with stakeholders across the UK to provide expert advice and influence decision-makingMonitor progress, risks and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies to maintain deliveryThis role directly supports the Commission’s mission to ensure transparency and fairness in the political finance system, strengthening public trust in the democratic process.About the team

The Regulatory Support team provides advice and guidance to parties and campaigners to ensure they understand the political finance laws and their obligations. The team plays a key role in advocating for its stakeholders to ensure any changes to the law are workable and evidence based. They are also responsible for ensuring the regulated community can prepare and understand how any new legislation applies.Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is a skilled leader with a good understanding of electoral law, political finance or legislative reform.
