Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to lead a medium-sized Learning Disabilities (LD) home in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate leader to manage a well-established service, ensuring high standards of care and support for all residents.
As the Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, lead and develop your team, and ensure the delivery of person-centred care. You will work closely with residents, families, and professionals to create a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support staff to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor person-centred care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance management.
- Manage budgets, rotas, and resources efficiently.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to support residents’ well-being.
- Respond effectively to incidents and safeguarding concerns.
- Promote independence, dignity, and positive outcomes for all residents.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a care home or supported living service, preferably for individuals with Learning Disabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 5 or above preferred).
