Position: Registered Service Manager
Location: Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to lead a medium-sized Learning Disabilities (LD) home in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate leader to manage a well-established service, ensuring high standards of care and support for all residents.

As the Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, lead and develop your team, and ensure the delivery of person-centred care. You will work closely with residents, families, and professionals to create a safe, supportive, and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support staff to maintain high-quality care standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centred care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance management.
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and resources efficiently.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to support residents’ well-being.
  • Respond effectively to incidents and safeguarding concerns.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and positive outcomes for all residents.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a care home or supported living service, preferably for individuals with Learning Disabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 5 or above preferred).
