Spencer Clarke are currently recruiting for a Registered Service Manager to work in a residential home for young people aged 16+ with Complex Needs in Abergavenny.
This service is operated by a fantastic organisation with a clear vision for the young people in their care, and transparent plans for progression and professional development for all members of staff-from Registered Service Manager to Support Worker. As a Registered Service Manager, you will have full autonomy to build and support your team and shape the service.
What the company offers:
Salary dependent on experience and knowledge: -36,500 - -45,000 per year

What the post requires:
A minimum of 5 years'' experience working in Residential Childcare or supported accommodation for young people aged 16+
At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, such as Deputy Manager
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
A proven track record of achieving "GOOD" or "OUTSTANDING" ratings from Ofsted or CQC within the last two years
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and CQC regulatory requirements
Meeting all budgetary, regulatory, and service development targets
Overseeing placement matching for young people aged 16+
Leading the staff team to deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes
Preparing reports and attending meetings with multi-agency partners
Recruiting, supervising, and developing team members
