Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Nursing Home – Worthing

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established care group now seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their multidisciplinary team in a 40-bedded nursing home specialising in mental health conditions.

Location: Worthing
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 33 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Hourly Rate: £24.00 - £25.00 (depending on experience)

About the Role:

As an RMN in this setting, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with a range of mental health needs. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will help residents achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
• Previous experience working in a similar care environment (e.g., nursing home, hospital, supported living)
• A caring, empathetic nature and a passion for mental health nursing
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
• Lead shifts and oversee care staff to ensure safe, effective support is provided
• Administer medication safely and in line with clinical procedures
• Monitor residents’ mental and physical health and respond appropriately to changes
• Promote independence, dignity, and emotional well-being for all residents
• Liaise with families, GPs, and external professionals to support holistic care delivery
• Maintain accurate records and uphold CQC and safeguarding standards
• Contribute to staff training, mentorship, and continuous service improvement
