The home specialises in high standards of nursing care for the elderly suffering with Dementia, Alzheimer s, other mental health issues or the after-effects of a stroke. As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members. Responsibilities include: Assessing and planning nursing care requirements. Providing pre- and post-operation care. Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions. Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures. Writing records. Supervising junior staff. Organising workloads. Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
