Registered Nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD Full-time or Part time available Both days and nights Hourly Rate £21 per hour Location, Halifax Right Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a Nursing Home in Halifax. The home specialises in high standards of nursing care for the elderly suffering with Dementia, Alzheimer s, other mental health issues or the after-effects of a stroke. As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members. Responsibilities include: Assessing and planning nursing care requirements. Providing pre- and post-operation care. Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions. Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures. Writing records. Supervising junior staff. Organising workloads. Providing emotional support to patients and relatives. Ensuring effective communication between day and night shifts Attending MDT meetings. The candidate: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
