Registered Mental Health (RMN) / Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)

with a passion for delivering the best quality of care. You will be expected to work

38.5 per week , working days and nights shifts on a rota basis. (shift times 8:00am to 8:15pm; 8:00pm to 8:15am) at

Cygnet Hospital Woking . Kahlo Ward is our 11 bed female mental health acute service. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Cygnet Hospital Woking , CQC rated Good, offers a range of secure mental health services for men and women and an Acute service.

Cygnet Lodge Woking , our sister hospital close by, offers a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service and an Acute service for men and extends our care pathway. The site is part of the Cygnet Group and details can be found at the location page.

Your day-to-day

Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations

Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality

Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing

Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals

Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines

YouAn experienced RMN/RNLD with a current PIN, you’ll have:

Essential:

The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role

A good understanding of the latest nursing practices

A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk

Compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence

Desirable:

The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role

An interest in leadership, research and assessment
