We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Registered Manager** to lead and manage our growing domiciliary care service based in Leigh, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven professional to take ownership of a well-established care service and play a pivotal role in its continued growth and development.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our service users in their own homes. You will act as the CQC Registered Manager and will be accountable for compliance, quality assurance, staff management, and business development.
Oversee the daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery at all times
Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and legislation

Drive the growth and expansion of the business, developing strategies to increase the number of service users and hours delivere

Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and commissioning bodies to generate new business opportunities

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of care coordinators, senior carers, and care workers to deliver outstanding person-centred care

Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring the workforce is skilled, competent, and aligned with the company''s values and standards

Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings to support staff performance and wellbeing

Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and resources effectively to achieve business targets

Ensure all care plans, risk assessments, and service user documentation are person-centred, up-to-date, and accurately maintained

Lead and manage CQC inspections, preparing the service and ensuring a positive outcome

Investigate and resolve complaints, safeguarding concerns, and incidents in a timely and professional manner

Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems to continuously improve the standard of care delivered

Requirements
-
Current or previous experience as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care setting is essential

Proven track record of successfully growing a domiciliary care business and increasing service capacity

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, the Care Act 2014, and all relevant legislation governing domiciliary care

Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it

Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Strong business acumen with experience of managing budgets, financial performance, and resource planning

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals

Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable

Enhanced DBS check will be required upon appointment
