Residential Registered Manager - Children''s HomeLocation: Slyne, LancasterSalary: 50,000 basic, with potential to earn 55,000 through bonusesHours: 40 per weekContract: Full-time, permanentAn established four-bed children''s home in Slyne, Lancaster, is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the care and development of children aged 8-18 with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and positive outcomes for children.Lead, develop and supervise the staff team, promoting strong safeguarding and child-centred practice.Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements, the Children''s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and relevant Quality Standards.Manage risk assessments, care plans, safeguarding procedures and multi-agency working.Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing environment.RequirementsNVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and a Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one.Strong knowledge of safeguarding, childcare regulations and residential care practice.Experience leading staff teams, with confident communication and decision-making skills.A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.Salary and Benefits 3,000 bonus for achieving an Outstanding Ofsted inspection. 2,000 occupancy bonus for achieving 90% occupancy.Pension scheme, employee discounts and wellbeing ..... full job details .....
