Registered Care Manager - Domiciliary Care

Location: Sefton
Salary: -35,00040,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
On-call rota required
Full UK Driving Licence + Own Vehicle Required

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead and develop a domiciliary care service in Sefton.

This role would suit a confident and passionate care leader with previous domiciliary and extra care experience, who is looking to take ownership of service delivery, team performance, compliance and continued growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers safe, high-quality and person-centred care, while leading and developing the care and office-based teams.

• Hold CQC registration and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the service
• Lead, motivate and develop care and office-based teams
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention and staff development
• Manage staffing rotas to ensure effective and safe service delivery
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals
• Monitor service quality through audits, reviews and spot checks
• Manage complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns effectively
• Oversee staff performance and ensure appropriate supervision and development
• Ensure policies, procedures, health & safety and regulatory requirements are followed
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, performance and growth
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide operational support when required
• Provide emergency hands-on care in exceptional circumstances
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care

• Previous management experience within domiciliary care
• Experience within both domiciliary and extra care
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
• Experience managing recruitment, rotas and staff performance
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care as a minimum
• Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, working towards it, or willingness to work towards it
• Full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Business insurance or willingness to obtain this
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and occasional weekend working
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
