Registered Manager (Ofsted)

Rota Support are recruiting for a Childrens Home Registered Manager on behalf of our client, a 4 bed EBD childrens residential home located in Colchester, Essex. The organisation was formed nearly 3 years ago and has gone from strength to strength and now has multiple homes under their umbrella. Our client is looking for a strong, child-focused leader who understands the responsibilities, pressures, and standards required within residential childcare. They are looking for somebody professional, resilient, organised, and genuinely passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. Role Overview As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home in line with the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards. You will provide leadership, direction, and support to the staff team, ensuring that children receive the highest quality care in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. This position requires resilience, strong safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to balance operational management with a child-centred approach. You will play a critical role in shaping the ethos, culture, and success of the home.
