We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in Nottingham. The home provides high-quality care and support for older adults, including individuals living with dementia.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe, supportive, and positive environment for residents and staff alike.

Position Details

• Location: Nottingham
• CQC Rating: GOOD
• Contract: Full-time
• Salary: Up to £45k (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Motivate, lead, and support a team of care professionals, promoting person-centred care and professional growth through regular training and supervision.
• Care Planning & Assessments: Conduct assessments, oversee personalised care plans, and ensure the delivery of high standards of dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
• Compliance & Governance: Maintain full compliance with all legislation, safeguarding practices, health and safety, and regulatory requirements. Complete governance reports, maintain accurate records, and liaise effectively with external bodies and families.
• Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor budgets effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive forward service development, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement while nurturing a culture of learning.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to ensure the continued success and reputation of the home.

Requirements

• Previous management experience in services supporting older adults.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (for meetings, training, and assessments).
• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and best practices in social care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
