Registered Manager - Multi-Site Operations & Service Development

Salary: -37,000 - -45,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent | Monday-Friday

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who is ready to broaden their career into wider multi-site operations.

The successful candidate will retain responsibility for Registered Manager and CQC duties while gaining broader exposure to multi-site oversight, service improvement, staff leadership, stakeholder management, service development and operational performance.

You will work closely with the Directors and senior leadership team across a number of supported living and domiciliary care services supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and behaviours that challenge.

This role would particularly suit an established Registered Manager looking to take their first step towards a future Operations Manager or Head of Operations position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality and day-to-day operation of multiple supported living and domiciliary care services.
  • Maintain strong CQC compliance and lead on inspections, audits and service improvement plans.
  • Support the organisation in improving its CQC rating and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Carry out regular service visits to monitor quality, compliance, staffing and the wellbeing of people supported.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to Service/Home Managers and wider staff teams.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, performance management and staff development.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure safeguarding and risk management processes are effective.
  • Ensure care and support plans are person-centred, outcomes-focused and regularly reviewed.
  • Promote Positive Behaviour Support, positive risk-taking and least restrictive practice.
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, health professionals and other external stakeholders.
  • Support service development, new service opportunities and wider operational planning.
  • Provide operational updates, performance information and improvement plans to the Directors.
  • Support effective resource and budget management across the services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety, GDPR and regulatory requirements.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager or senior adult social care professional with strong regulated-services experience.

You should have:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or equivalent senior management role.
  • Experience managing multiple services, sites or teams, or working across more than one service.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
  • Experience with CQC inspections, audits and service improvement.
  • Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and least restrictive practice.
  • Strong safeguarding experience.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, Mental Capacity Act 2005, DoLS/LPS and Care Act 2014.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A relevant Level 4/5 Health & Social Care or Leadership qualification would be advantageous.
