Registered Manager (Commissioning) Location: Gillingham, Kent Salary: 50,000 per annum + 11% Performance Bonus (paid quarterly) Service: New 15-Bed Mental Health Residential Service About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the commissioning and launch of a brand-new 15-bed residential service supporting adults with mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a new service from the ground up. You will play a key role in registration, mobilisation, recruitment, occupancy growth, and establishing a high-quality service with strong foundations and a positive culture. Key Responsibilities Lead the registration, mobilisation, and successful opening of the service. Recruit, develop, and manage a new staff team. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and best practice standards. Oversee admissions, assessments, and person-centred support planning. Build effective relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and referral partners. Manage service budgets, resources, and performance targets. Implement robust quality assurance, risk management, and safeguarding processes. Promote continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care and support. Drive occupancy levels and support the long-term success of the service. Provide leadership, direction, and support to the wider team.
