Location:Leicester Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceJob Type: Full-time, Permanent Experienced Registered Manager - Children''s Residential CareWe are looking for an experienced and qualified Registered Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the management of a children''s residential home in the Wolverhampton area. This role is specifically for someone who has already worked as a Registered Manager within children''s residential care and has a proven track record of managing a home successfully. This is not a position for someone looking to gain their first Registered Manager role. The home supports children and young people with learning difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), and potentially complex needs. We are looking for a confident, compassionate and experienced leader who understands the challenges and rewards of this type of care. Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the home.Ensure the home consistently provides high-quality, child-centred care.Lead, support and develop the residential childcare team.Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation.Maintain high standards across care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, recording and staff practice.Work effectively with social workers, local authorities, education providers, healthcare professionals and other agencies.Manage staff recruitment, induction, ..... full job details .....
