Registered Manager , you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, operational leadership, and compliance of the nursing home. You will ensure that residents receive high-quality care in line with regulatory standards, while supporting and leading a small team of dedicated staff.Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the nursing home''s operations, including staffing, budgets, and quality of care.
Ensure compliance with
CQC regulations
and other relevant legislation.
Promote a culture of person-centred care, safeguarding, and continuous improvement.
Support, supervise, and develop staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and ensure all resident documentation is accurate and up to date.
Liaise with families, health professionals, and external agencies to maintain high standards of care and communication.
Monitor and manage the financial performance of the home, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Lead on audits, inspections, and regulatory visits, ensuring action plans are implemented effectively.
Requirements
Must hold
Registered Manager status
with the appropriate regulatory body (CQC in the UK).
Proven experience in managing a small to medium-sized care or nursing home.
Strong knowledge of care standards, CQC regulations, and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage staff performance effectively.
