Registered Children''s Home Manager Required in Ipswich Suffolk IP1 Salary £50k-£55k + bonus Negotiable We are looking for a Children''s Home Manager our 7 bed Children''s Home supporting 8-18 year olds with EBD and challenging behaviours. The home was rated GOOD in all areas at its last Ofsted inspection. Our home is modern and bright. The owners require someone who is experienced, enthusiastic and energetic. Quality is key. We seek a person that is consistent ,reliable and has the knowledge to run a home effectively. Someone who cares and will always find a solution. The team including Responsible Individual and Directors will be there with full support and encourage training qualifications and progression. Registered Manager Skills and abilities Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard.Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies.Ability to solve problems.Able to work within the principles of the Children''s Act.Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures.Sound knowledge of Children''s Homes procedures and relevant issues.Ability to exercise authority.Proven leadership and management abilities.Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written. Registered Manager knowledge and experience.
