Registered Manager – Spider is advertising on behalf of a newly established care service company, who are looking for a Registered Manager to join them primarily based in Felixstowe and currently managing a small bespoke support service for two people.

About the role:
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the overall management and development of the specialist service ensuring that each person is treated with dignity and respect while receiving personalised, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs. Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, mainly 9 to 5 however flexible working hours can be discussed for the right candidate.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a dedicated team, champion core values, and create a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver safe, effective, and responsive person-centred support for individuals with complex autism, ensuring dignity, autonomy, and choice are upheld.
- Uphold and exceed regulatory standards, driving service improvement initiatives and embedding best practice across all areas of care.
- Recruit, mentor, and appraise staff, cultivating professional growth and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with individuals, families, and community partners to promote shared approaches to care.
About you:
As a Registered Manager, you will be a passionate leader with strong management experience in specialist autism or complex needs care. With a deep understanding of the needs of neurodiverse individuals, you are committed to delivering innovative, person-centred support. You embody dignity, respect, and collaboration, inspiring your team through outstanding leadership and communication. A full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
