Service Manager (CQC Registered)
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary: -40,000 per annum
Reports To: Head of Service
Responsible For: Specialist Behaviour Support Workers
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Service Manager/Registered Manager-to oversee a single-person supported living service in Slough. This individual has lived successfully in his current home for over a decade and requires thoughtful, consistent support due to a combination of needs, including learning disability, autism, psychotic illness, epilepsy, and type 2 diabetes.
This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality of care and safeguarding while also leading and motivating a team of seven Specialist Behaviour Support Workers. You will need to balance compassion with strong leadership, ensuring compliance with CQC standards while keeping team morale high and maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership, supervision, and coaching to the staff team.

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies.

Manage safeguarding concerns and maintain a safe environment.

Oversee budgets, resources, and service delivery standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and professionals.

Promote Positive Behaviour Support and customer involvement in daily life.

Essential Experience

Previous experience managing supported living and/or registered services.

Experience of CQC standards, safeguarding, and partnership working.
