Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Ofsted, Solo Placement)
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £55,000+ per annum + Ofsted registration bonus
Driving Licence: Essential (own vehicle required)

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a dual-registered, solo occupancy children’s home in Merseyside. This is a key leadership role offering full operational responsibility and the opportunity to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care in a well-supported environment.

The home supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and trauma-related needs.

The Role:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted regulations
• Ensure strong safeguarding, compliance, and risk management practices
• Deliver high-quality, individualised care and placement stability
• Recruit, lead, and develop a small residential care team
• Maintain accurate records and care documentation
• Work closely with local authorities and external professionals
• Drive positive outcomes for children and young people

Requirements:

• Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership for Children & Young People
• At least 1 year’s experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
• Experience within residential childcare or therapeutic settings
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
