Care First Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and reputable children’s services provider based in Southampton. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to take the lead in managing one of their high-quality children’s homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Ofsted Registered Manager — or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up — to join a child-focused organisation that truly invests in its people and services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the daily operations of the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
• Ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people at all times.
• Driving continuous improvement and quality assurance throughout the service.
• Managing staffing levels, rotas, and team performance to ensure effective service delivery.
• Leading on recruitment, staff training, supervision, and development.
• Overseeing budgets and financial planning for the home.
• Preparing for and responding to Ofsted inspections to maintain a high-quality service.

You Will Have:

• Previous experience working in children’s residential settings.
• Proven leadership and management skills, ideally in an Ofsted-regulated service.
• Strong people skills and the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory frameworks.
• Good business acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards it).
