Registered Manager – Lead a High-Quality 2-Bed EBD Home
Location: Salford – Residential EBD Service
Make a lasting impact in the lives of young people. We’re recruiting a Registered Manager for a well-established provider’s Good-rated 2-bed EBD home in Salford — a key leadership opportunity to shape care, culture, and outcomes in a child-focused environment.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for leading this home to sustained excellence:
• Maintain and improve standards in line with Ofsted, Quality Standards and the home’s Statement of Purpose
• Oversee and develop care planning for each young person across all aspects of wellbeing
• Recruit, retain and develop a strong team culture with a stable, skilled staff group
• Promote a safe and nurturing environment, embedding trauma-informed approaches
• Build positive relationships with external stakeholders and families
• Lead on budgeting and commercial oversight of the home
• Champion participation and ensure young people’s voices are heard in their care

About You:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, with at least 1 year at supervisory level
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to begin within 6 months)
• Deep understanding of trauma-informed care and EBD needs
• Strong team leadership, planning and organisational skills
• Confidence in safeguarding, compliance and relationship building
• Full UK driving licence required
