Cityworx are recruiting for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a specialist service supporting young people with complex health needs. Our client works with young people referred in crisis, who may be at risk of self-harm, may abscond, or be under a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) order.

The organisation has strong partnerships with housing providers, enabling them to offer safe accommodation to help young people settle. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining office, community, and home-based work. You will have full autonomy to manage your diary and prioritise your workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and all statutory frameworks.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Develop and oversee tailored care plans for children with complex needs.
  • Apply trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
  • Safeguard children and manage incidents in line with procedures.
  • Prepare for and lead CQC and other regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation.
  • Monitor service performance and implement improvement plans.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and quality reviews.
  • Liaise with health professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the service in professional meetings and forums.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children’s services.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
  • Advanced safeguarding knowledge and crisis management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications in mental health, counselling, or therapeutic work.
  • Full UK driving licence.
