Registered Manager

Cityworx are recruiting for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a specialist service supporting young people with complex health needs. Our client works with young people referred in crisis, who may be at risk of self-harm, may abscond, or be under a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) order.
The organisation has strong partnerships with housing providers, enabling them to offer safe accommodation to help young people settle. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining office, community, and home-based work. You will have full autonomy to manage your diary and prioritise your workload.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
- Ensure compliance with CQC and all statutory frameworks.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Develop and oversee tailored care plans for children with complex needs.
- Apply trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
- Safeguard children and manage incidents in line with procedures.
- Prepare for and lead CQC and other regulatory inspections.
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation.
- Monitor service performance and implement improvement plans.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and quality reviews.
- Liaise with health professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.
- Represent the service in professional meetings and forums.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children’s services.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
- Advanced safeguarding knowledge and crisis management skills.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications in mental health, counselling, or therapeutic work.
- Full UK driving licence.
